Greetings from Haiti

My name is Ronald Louis and I live in Saint Marc, Haiti. This city has been my home since I was born. I am 29 years old and I am married to my beautiful bride Cassandra which we married in March 2011. I graduated from Fisherman International Seminary located in Port-au-Prince where I spent three years studying the Holy Bible and learning how to effectively communicate the Gospel.

When I was fourteen years old I accepted Jesus Christ into my life and I was baptized. Since my baptism I have worked hard to stay in pursuit of the Almighty God. It hasn't always been easy for me .Throughout my life I have been confronted with moments that have tested my faith. Moments where everything in life seemed to turn upside down and all favor seemed to be gone. It has been these times that have stretched me beyond my thinking and reason and have brought me to a place dependence upon the Holy Spirit and He helps me to stay encouraged and not give up.

When I was eighteen years old I had a vision where God showed me a lot of people and I was standing in the middle of them. Where I was standing I was reaching out to the people around me and I heard God say to me ''I am going to give you the resources you need to reach these people and help them with everything I have given you''. In light of this vision and upon the completion of my education through seminary my wife and I have been taking steps with God to begin ministering to people here in our city. A project we have been working on is building a Church in a village called Timonette. Timonette is located just outside the city of Saint Marc in area called the “5th section” where hundreds of victims from the 2010 earthquake were relocated to and now live.
